    Good Stuff.
Does anyone know if there were any error editions on the Reagan shooting in 1981?
For about 45 minutes after the attack, the White House withheld the information that Reagan was actually shot and all the TV and radio stations reported that the would-be assassin DID NOT hit Reagan.
One minor error edition that I have is the “Helicopter Edition” of The Indianapolis News for the 1966 Indianapolis 500. This newspaper would fly an edition into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway so that the winner could hold up the headline in victory lane proclaiming that he had won the race. However in 1966, Jackie Stewart, while leading late in the race, had his car suffer mechanical failure and Graham Hill actually won the race. My edition reads “Rookie Stewart Wins 500”.
