I have an old newspaper I found in a box of photos my mother left. It’s from Times Herald, Washington D.C., August 15, 1945 announcing the “War is Over”. The back page had 4 large photos “From Pearl Harbor to Hiroshima” Other than the crease down the center of the paper it appears to be in good shape. I’m looking for advice. I’d like to display both sides. Some of the things I’ve been thinking about is having both sides scanned and having them framed. Getting rid of the crease or minimizing it somehow. What would you advise?

If it were mine, I’d have the back page scanned and reprinted, and have the front page and the scan framed (either together or otherwise). Those we’ve known who have had a double-glass frame made (unbelievably expensive) have told us that they ended up regretting having it framed in this manner.
    Just a thought.
